Fiona Weir is to be the new Chief Executive of One Parent Families|Gingerbread.
A former Director of Policy and Communications at Save the Children, Weir has worked as Head of Public Affairs at the Consumers Association, Director of Campaigns at Amnesty International UK, and at Friends of the Earth.
She takes over from Chris Pond who has moved to the Financial Services Authority.
