Bluefrog give direct mail donors a blog of their own

Howard Lake | 19 July 2007 | News

Direct marketing agency Bluefrog has invited donors who receive direct mail to share feedback in public on a blog, charitybloggers.com.
Bluefrog explain that the blog is intended to help donors communicate with charities and for fundraisers and direct marketing agencies to hear first-hand how their appeals are received. “Our bloggers put aside a little time for one reason – they support charities and want to help them communicate better. They receive no remuneration and publish anonymously so they are free to say what they like. Their opinions are uncensored and unedited – like it or not!”
Bluefrog believe that “ultimately this [blog] will help every charity communicate better in the future”.
