'Fantastic' response for Institute awards entries

Howard Lake | 9 March 2007 | Blogs

Wow. The Institute of Fundraising has received more than 350 entries in total for its National Awards. That’s amazing!
There are 55 entries for the Best Business Charity Partnership, 29 for the Best Fundraising Charity to Work For and 44 entries for the fundraiser of the year.  Not to mention the 64 suggestions for the Lifetime Achievement award and 33 for the Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year.
Events manager Kirsty Thomson said the response had been “nothing short of phenomenal”.
Judging takes place on 22 March, and nominees will find out whether or not they have been shortlisted by the end of April. UK Fundraising will be featuring the shortlisted nominees over the weeks between the judging and the presentation of the awards at National Convention on 9 July, so watch this space.
