A planned giving seminar with a particular emphasis on environmental organisations and museums has been scheduled for 12th September outside Belfast. ‘Planned Giving: Challenges and Approaches For Environmental Organizations & Museums,’ will be presented by American consultant Jan Jennings at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum in Cultra.

Jan M. Jennings has spearheaded planned gift growth for more than fourteen years in development offices of national and international museums, environmental, and healthcare organisations. Currently directing planned giving for The American Air Museum in Britain in Duxford, England, previously she worked in major and planned gifts at Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, Massachusetts. She served as Director of Gift Planning at World Wildlife Fund, Director of Planned Giving at The Ocean Conservancy, and Assistant Director of Planned Giving at National Audubon Society in Washington, D.C. Ms. Jennings is Co-President of the Stanford Club of New England, was VP for Program of the National Capital Gift Planning Council in Washington D.C. with over 250 members, and is a member of the National Committee on Planned Giving and the European Association for Planned Giving.
