Restaurants Against Hunger to take place throughout October

Howard Lake | 13 July 2006 | News

This year’s Restaurants Against Hunger campaign will take place from 1 to 31 October. Hundreds of restaurants will help raise funds to provide food and safe water to families suffering from hunger and malnutrition.

Participating restaurants will donate part of their takings made on selected dishes or invite diners to add a £1 donation to their bill. Funds raised will be donated to Action Against Hunger which helps vulnerable families all around the world in their daily struggle to feed themselves and their families.

The charity points out that a £1 donation can provide a full meal for five children in Zambia.
