Assault Course Events opens for fundraising events

Two former Army physical training instructors have opened Assault Course Events in Hertfordshire, which is already being used for fundraising events.
Darren Glenister and Mark Chamberlin opened the five-mile, 30-obstacle climbing, crawling, jumping, wet and muddy obstacle course in Chiswell Green near St Albans.
Glenister said:

“With the growing popularity of obstacle course racing we decided at ACE to share our knowledge and experience to help other great causes raise much needed funds. We have developed a course that’s fun and challenging, and gives us a chance to help all charities local and far join in this fast growing muddy craze.”

Watford Peace Hospice was one of the first charities to use the course. Pete Watson, Events Manager at the charity, said:
