“When we started the awards eight years ago, no one knew why they needed to focus on video. Now, the majority of all bandwidth is video and video messaging has become more important than ever for nonprofit organizations around the world. This year, we are pleased to present the Most Inspiring Youth Media Award, where we can showcase the up-and-coming video makers dedicated to social change.”

Who can enter?

Only videos submitted from organisations registered in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia are eligible for the contest.

Award categories

A shortlist will be drawn up, and then YouTube users will be invited to vote for the best from 28 February to 10 March.
Last year over 800 entries were submitted by more than 300 nonprofit organisations. You can see UK Fundraising’s report on the winners of the 2013 DoGooder Awards.
Entries are open from 1 February and close on 15 February 2014.
