Barnardo's shops partner with Auctioning4u to fundraise on eBay

Barnardo’s, the children’s charity, has joined forces with Auctioning4u, the UK’s chain of eBay drop off shops, to launch a new service across 24 Barnardo’s stores in the South-East.
These selected Barnardo’s stores, all high street locations, will offer an Auctioning4u drop off facility. Auctioning4u plans to extend drop off facilities to 320 Barnardo’s shops by the end of 2006.
Once the sale is completed, the seller receives a cheque for two thirds of the price paid, with Barnardo’s receiving a percentage. Sellers will also be encouraged to donate a voluntary contribution to Barnardo’s as a result of the successful auction of their items.
