Web-based Gift Aid tool developed for smaller charities

Gift Aid specialists Kvisio have launched GiftAid Online, a web-based tool for small charities (those with under 1,000 supporters), who want to make Gift Aid claims online through the HMRC Gateway.

The tool has been developed following the changes in HMRC's rules for online tax claims.

Kevin Robson, MD of Kvisio, explained: "Many small charities have felt excluded from the process of claiming Gift Aid because it can be so resource intensive. And even if they do Gift Aid, very often charities will only make one tax claim a year. So they just don’t have the resources, or need to invest in a fundraising database.

"GO is a secure (encrypted) online Gift Aid database that allows charities to enter the contacts, donations and Gift Aid details for an online tax claim. All data will be securely saved and copies of tax claims kept. Charities can access their data and make as many tax claims as they want.”

GiftAid Online, like Kvisio's GiftEase and Insynch Gift Aid products, uses GAVE, the validation tool with over 30 HMRC rules and regulations embedded for instant auditing.

GiftAid Online's annual subscription rate costs from £99 for the standard package.
