Applications open for Clore Social Fellowships 2014

Howard Lake | 29 April 2013 | News

Applications open today for the 2014 Clore Social Fellowships. Up to 20 of these will be offered to "exceptional individuals who have the potential to take on a significant leadership role in the wider social sector".

To be eligible, applicants must be working (or volunteering) in or closely with the wider social sector. They must also have demonstrated leadership potential in some of the work they have already undertaken. Applicants working internationally for UK-based organisations are now eligible.

This is the fifth round of fellowships to be offered by the Clore Social Leadership Programme. Each Fellow benefits from a personalised leadership development programme.

The Fellowship programme lasts 12 or 24 months, on a full or part-time basis. Fellows attend residential courses, and benefit from coaching and mentoring. They also undertake an extended secondment and engage in a practice-based research project.

Once the programme is complete Fellows continue to benefit from membership of this Fellowship network, which has become a prestigious network of influential individuals pioneering social change in the UK and internationally.

The deadline for completed applications is midday on 10 June 2013.
