Toy baby dragon for NCH

Off price retailer TK Maxx is to sell a soft toy version of Cedric the Dragon, the mascot of children’s charity NCH, as a stocking filler in the run-up to Christmas.

The toy will be sold exclusively
in TK Maxx stores from November and will retail at £2.99 with at least £1 of
the proceeds from each toy being donated to NCH.

The soft toy market at Christmas is not surprisingly large: in the last quarter of 2003 alone, over £60 million was spent in the
UK on soft toys, according to the British Association of Toy Retailers.
