Shelter is today unveiling the first of its newly refitted and refurbished shops across the country.

Derby sees the first Shelter shop to be revamped in line with the charity’s new corporate identity, logo, strapline (“Bad housing wrecks lives”), and Million Children Campaign, and forms part of a major
re-positioning initiative aimed at bridging public misconceptions surrounding homelessness.

Gillian Osrin, Marketing and Retail Operations Manager, said: “All the shops have been given a face-lift to coincide with our re-brand and drive to enable people to gain a better understanding of the work Shelter does. We’ve succeeded in looking good on a budget, expanding our stock and ensuring shopping here is a more
enjoyable experience for our customers.”
