Charity Consultants and Mike Whitlam Solutions for Charity in strategic alliance

A new strategic alliance has been formed between the Charity Consultants Management Unit and Mike Whitlam-Solutions for Charity.
Charity Consultants Management Unit’ director Diane Yeo explained: “The Charity Consultants Management Unit is a newly formed ‘virtual’ consultancy which brings together specialists from throughout the world of charitable activity and offers potential clients consultancy, research, hands-on help and support. The
wealth of experience and wisdom which Mike Whitlam brings to Charity Consultants
will be a tremendous asset”.
Mike Whitlam added: “This collaboration will ensure that we should be able to cover a wide range of management needs of charities, including CEO support and coaching, supply of interim managers and business planning. The unrivalled expertise in fundraising management, built up by Andrew Thomas and the Charity Consultants team, will be invaluable in this development”.

Mike Whitlam is a very well known manager in the UK voluntary sector and was awarded the first ever Lifetime Achievement Award for his services to charity. Formerly Director (UK) of Save the Children and Director General of the British Red Cross, as the first Chief Executive of the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness he was responsible for implementation of the VISION 2020: The Right to Sight initiative.
