HSA Group promotes payroll giving to its staff

Healthcare cash plan provider the HSA Group has worked with Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) to promote payroll giving among its staff and match employees’ donations pound for pound.

Following a promotion by the HSA and CAF to 650 staff in Hampshire, Hertfordshire and Leeds, over 17% signed up to Give As You Earn generating £14,232 a year from staff contributions plus company matching.

HSA is one of nearly 7,000 companies offering Give As You Earn, generating

over £50 million annually.

Liz Aplin, Corporate Relations Manager at CAF said: “The level of enthusiasm

of HSA staff in promoting the Give As You Earn scheme was exceptional. The

training of staff champions and a widespread e-mail and poster campaign ensured that the level of awareness among employees was high, even before the face-to-face promotion began.

“HSA is an excellent example of how a medium sized company can achieve real success through a carefully planned and well supported promotion.”
