TRAID announces new Chief Executive
Recycling charity TRAID (Textile Recycling for Aid and International Development), known for its fashionable and retro second hand clothing shops, has appointed Maria Chenoweth as its new Chief Executive.
Maria began her career in the commercial sector in various management roles,
but decided to change her career path to working within the voluntary
sector. She started as a volunteer for Oxfam, where she worked her way up
to the post of Area Retail Support Manager. For the past three years Maria
has managed TRAID’s retail activities.
TRAID has a host of shops that iam to meet the changing demands of the fashion-conscious youth market. There are currently around 700 TRAID recycling banks spanning the
South East, the Midlands and the Manchester area.
