Comic Relief uses Web billing to fundraise online

Comic Relief is encouraging online followers of the Celebrity Big Brother programme to vote online for the housemates. To ensure that online votes still raise the 15.5p that normal telephone voters raise, the charity has teamed up with Global Internet Billing. Online voters are disconnected from their ISP and reconnected to a premium rate ‘phone number. Comic Relief explains how it works to would-be voters at the Big Brother page.
