Internal e-mail raises £130,000

ThirdSector reports that financial services firm JP Morgan raised £130,000 for children’s charities in pledged donations from staff in only four hours using only e-mail.
Staff received the e-mail via their corporate intranet which explained the benefits of giving by Give As You Earn. “Within four hours 200 employees had pledged amounts of between £10 and £100 per month which will be matched by their employer during this year.”
