Third Sector magazine reports that the NSPCC is considering moving its ‘Your Family’ magazine online, and possibly dropping the printed version entirely.

The magazine was launched in March 2005 with the aim of reaching a broader swathe of parents who might not normally think the NSPCC’s work was relevant to them.

Currently 400,000 copies are distributed bi-monthly via Early Learning Centre branches.

This won’t be the first charity magazine to move online. Many organisations have moved elements of supporter communications, including newsletters and reports, online in a bid to reduce costs.

An NSPCC spokeswoman told Third Sector that no decision had yet been made and that any change “would be gradual”.
