Two charities have partnered to provide funding help to parents of disabled children who work or have recently worked in the UK fashion and textile industry.
Caudwell Children and the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust will provide shared funding for a range of mobility and sensory equipment, therapies and treatments; including specialist wheelchairs, buggies, car seats, tricycles and light sensory packs. The funding is available for items with a cost of £750 or more.
To be eligible for funding, the family must either have at least one parent or carer working in the UK fashion and textile industry, or have one parent or carer who has worked in the industry within the last nine years, and who must have worked in the industry for at least one year.
Funding requests must be received by Saturday 31st June, 2017 with those interested asked to phone or email Caudwell Children’s Applications team on 01782 600266 and ap**********@ca**************.com.
Anna Pangbourne, director of the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust, said:

“We are absolutely delighted to be working in partnership with Caudwell Children to reach many more UK families with disabled children; families who may not realise they are eligible for our support because of where they work.”
