Charity and government staff to swap places for a day

Charity and voluntary sector staff are once again being offered the opportunity to swap places with a government official for one day to get a better understanding of how each other works.
NCVO’s A Day in the Life scheme is open for applications now. The government departments that are taking part are:

- Department for Communities and Local Government
- Department for Education
- Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
- Department for Work and Pensions
- Home Office
- National Audit Office
There is no charge to take part and NCVO handles the appropriate matching.
The one-day swap takes place between November 2016 and April 2017.
