Growing Localities Awards 2016 open for entries
Lemos&Crane and The City of London Corporation’s charity, The City Bridge Trust, are seeking entrants for The City of London Growing Localities Awards 2016.
The awards are open to non-profit organisations based in any London borough that use nature to enhance the lives of local citizens, as well as communities. They offer a total of £5,000 in prize money.
The entry deadline is 22nd April. A shortlist will be revealed at the end of May, and the winners announced at an event in the summer.
The themes for 2016 are:
- Using nature to support families in the community
- Nature and inclusion for people with physical and other disabilities
- Innovative projects in schools for children and young people
- Community projects focused on sustainable horticulture.
Applicants must describe what their project already does and how the prize money would be spent to further its work.
