Howard Lake | 11 November 2015 | News

Photos of food taken on a mobile phone and entered for an international food photography award will generate donations to Action Against Hunger.
The ‘Food Sn-Apping’ category of the Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year 2016 is accepting photos taken on mobile phones. For every photo entered to the category, £2 per entry will be donated to Action Against Hunger.
The Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year awards is part of the Luke Johnson-backed venture, The Food Awards Company. The panel of judges is chaired by Jay Rayner (The One Show, Guardian, Radio 4) including David Loftus, Jamie Oliver’s photographer; Helene Dujardin, US food blogger; Krishna Pillai, Editor of Better Photography, and Rein Skullerud, Head of Photo Unit, World Food Programme.
This is the first year that entries can be made by mobile phone. A £5,000 prize is on offer.
