Localgiving offers £5,000 in grants to top 20 #LocalHero fundraisers

Online giving platform Localgiving.com is offering £5,000 in prizes for charities to the 20 people that attract the most donors on its site during June.
Those who take part will be ranked on a #LocalHero Leaderboard according to the number of unique donors who sponsor them throughout the month. The fundraiser with the most donors contributing to their page by the end of the month will win £1,000 for their chosen charity.
Localgiving.com is running its #LocalHero campaign to highlight the value of the many individuals who fundraise for local charities.
Taking part
The campaign runs from 1-30 June, and each active fundraising page on Localgiving.com will be eligible to take part.
The top fundraiser will win £1,000 for her or his cause, the second to fifth placed will win £500 for their causes, the sixth to tenth £200 each, and those in 11th to 20th place will win £100 for their charity.
There is no limit to the number of prizes that a charity can receive!
