London charity night bike ride raises £2m

Howard Lake | 10 June 2014 | News

Over 3,000 cyclists raised over £2 million for hundreds of charities last weekend as they rode through the streets of London at night.
The fifth annual Nightrider took the cyclists on a 100km tour past London’s major sights. They started at Alexandra Palace in north London and Crystal Palace in the south, and followed a circular route through the city.
Each cyclist was raising funds for their favourite charity.

Nightrider™ is organised by charity tour operator Classic Tours. Managing Director, Sir Erich Reich said:

“Nightrider is a fantastic way to see the sights of London in a different light whilst helping to raise a huge amount for charity.  This year’s ride had the added appeal of taking place immediately prior to the Tour de France when London will be showcased to the world”.

Registrations for Nightrider™ 2015 are open with a 20% discount on the first 100 places sold.
