Harlequin to integrate Rapidata’s direct debit services with its software

Charity clients of database company Harlequin will soon be able to make use of the direct debit and online fundraising services of regular giving specialists Rapidata.
Developers at both companies are working on integrating Harlequin’s CRM, fundraising and accounting software with the range of services provided by Rapidata. These include Direct Debits, eDirectDebit, card payments, online and mobile fundraising services for website donation pages, event registration and participant management, and peer-to-peer fundraising across social media.
Martin Hills, Head of Business Development at Harlequin, said:

“Rather than developing every service in-house, we believe it is wiser to work with well-established and trusted providers – that are specialists in their field and experienced with not-for-profits.
“As well as offering essential tools for regular giving, we are particularly excited about how Rapidata will help our clients with online fundraising. For example, we are aware of an increasing demand for branded online donation pages that link to the backend CRM system – our clients will now be able to have this.”
