Morrisons chooses Sue Ryder as its new charity partner

In the week that it announced a record total of £7 million for its previous charity partner Save the Children, Morrisons has announced that its new partner will be Sue Ryder. As before, the charity was voted for by the retailer’s employees.
The partnership formally gets underway on 2 February.

Sue Ryder’s corporate fundraising team recently enjoyed success with a partnership with The Daily Mail. The newspape’rs 2013 Christmas appeal invited readers to support the charity’s hospice care, and this raised £108,100 during December 2013.
Morrisons’ previous charity partners include Help the Hospices, and ChildLine and Age UK.
