Regional housebuilder chooses hospice as charity of the year

Housebuilder Persimmon Homes East Wales has chosen St David’s Hospice Care in South Wales as its charity of the year, following a unanimous vote by staff. The company hopes to raise over £5,000 for the charity through a variety of fundraising activities including bike challenges and abseils.
Persimmon employees supported the charity last year, and presented a cheque for £3,000 from fundraising activities including a dragon boat race and trail bike ride.
St David’s Hospice Care provides its service to people living within Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport, Torfaen and areas of South and Mid Powys.
