Richard Sved sets up fundraising and management consultancy

Richard Sved, who describes himself as a voluntary sector 'lifer', has set up 3rd Sector Mission Control to help charities deliver their missions more effectively through better performance and focus.

His company provides freelance and interim support to charities in senior organisational management, income generation and external affairs.

Sved has 20 years experience in the charity sector, including 15 at senior management level. He was Head of Fundraising for six years at the National Literacy Trust, and worked as Development Director at MLA London, and Director of Income and External Affairs at Leap Confronting Conflict.

He explained: "I set up 3rd Sector Mission Control for one reason: to help charitable and cultural organisations perform and deliver their missions as effectively as they can." He has already engaged two new clients in his first three weeks.
