Simplyhealth to donate extra £150k to Heart Research UK for Facebook ‘likes’
Having raised £30,000 for Heart Research UK last year, Simplyhealth is now increasing its target to £150,000 to fund a joint research project with the charity to look at the link between heart health and dental health.
Like the 2012 Facebook ‘like’ campaign, the health company will donate £1 to Health Research UK for every ‘like’ received on its Facebook page.
The campaign is being promoted again with a national TV advert, which runs from 14 January to 10 March 2013.
Clare Lee, Head of Brand at Simplyhealth said: “With the help of our Facebook fans we aim to donate £150,000 to fund a research project that helps us all understand more about how our dental health can affect our heart”.
