New fundraising conference for small charities to be held next month

The first in a new series of fundraising industry conferences takes place next month. The first Enlighten Conference will present sessions on best practice and ideas for successful fundraising for small and start-up charities.

It takes place on 26 November at the School of Oriental and African Studies, Central London.

• David Erasmus: founder and CEO of Givey, the social donation platform.

• Lucy Gower: founder of Lucyinnovation.

THe day will feature eight workshops covering fundraising methods such as events, trusts, legacies, individual giving, corporate and volunteers.

Broadcaster turned communications consultant Merryn Myatt from Perris-Myatt will present a plenary session on crisis and reputation management for small charities.

Tickets for Enlighten Conference cost £49.00 and include access to the whole day, lunch and refreshments and access to presentation slides after the event.
