Trinity increases fundraising income

One of Ireland’s largest educational foundations, Trinity, increased its pledges in 2011, according to the latest financial report.
In 2011 the Trinity Foundation secured pledges of €15 million, an increase of just over €0.5 million on 2010. Cash received by the Foundation stayed level at around €8.4 million.
The Foundation had operational costs of just over €2 million for both 2011 and 2010.
The Foundation states that central to its continued success has been the contribution of their advisory boards and volunteer groups who operate in Ireland and overseas in support of the Foundation’s work.
Trinity lists a wide range of private sector, public sector, individual donors and legacy gifts in its financial report. Since it was established in 1994, the Foundation has raised €215 million.
