Vodafone Foundation Ireland's 'World of Difference' opens for 2012

Vodafone Foundation Ireland has opened its World of Difference funding programme for 2012.
World of Difference supports social innovation by providing a salary for an individual to work with an organisation they are passionate about helping. The salary is worth €40,000 for a year.
The programme has been running since 2007 and last year’s winners included Laura Hickey who worked with Arthritis Ireland to help their children’s services and Vincent Howard who helped St John’s Ambulance introduce new ways of doing business.
The programme is open to anyone over 18, is resident in the Republic of Ireland and has a project which has been agreed with the charity.
Applications can be made via the Foundation’s Facebook page and the closing date is 6 September 2012.
