Blackbaud begins 2012 State of the Not-for-Profit Industry research
Online fundraising and CRM software & services firm Blackbaud has launched its annual State of the Nonprofit Industry Survey (SONI) in association with the Resource Alliance.
The SONI survey, which is “the world’s latest third sector review” according to Blackbaud, invites opinion from charities in 11 countries and across four continents. It aims to analyse and report on the success factors that are essential for charities and nonprofits, to help all organisations benchmark their activities.
The survey covers fundraising, recruiting and retaining supporters, staffing, and how charities are using channels such as mobile and social media.
By taking part, UK charities will get the chance to see how their organisation compares to thousands of others in the UK and around the world.
Blackbaud says that it keeps individual results strictly confidential, and uses data only in aggregate.
The company says that the survey takes no more than 10 minutes to complete. Participants will be entered in a draw for a chance to win a new iPad, as well as receiving a copy of the results report when it publishes them later in the year.
The survey closes on 22 June 2012.
