BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and Computing magazine are looking for the Not for Profit IT Project of the Year, one of the categories in this year’s UK IT Industry Awards.
The award will be presented to a not-for-profit sector organisation for the most outstanding project completed during the past 12 months. To qualify, the organisation simply has to have used IT to benefit the organisation or its clients.
Last year, the Not for Profit IT Project of the Year was won by South West Grid for Learning Trust.
David Clarke, MBE, Chief Executive Officer of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, says: “IT is at the heart of almost everything we do these days – so it’s important that everyone has access to it. We are looking for charities or projects that have employed technology to make a real difference to the community. ”
The closing date for entries is 17.00 on 6 July 2012.
