David Jones joins appiChar's supporter360 team

Technology provider appiChar has appointed fundraising database specialist David Jones to expand its Salesforce-based CRM service supporter360 to the UK charity and membership market.
Jones, Business Development Manager at appiChar, has extensive experience of the sector. As well as working for a number of charities, he worked on fundraising databases ProgressCRM and Donor Strategy which were taken over by ASI Europe and IRIS NFP respectively.
AppiChar founder Ian Ryder said: “David adds a new depth to our knowledge about the needs of fundraisers, something we will increasingly need as more and more organisations sign up to supporter360. We’ve been having great success in Australia which we’re now looking to replicate in the UK.”
Jones commented: “I’ve been looking at the market for some time and knew the Salesforce platform is a complete game-changer for the sector. After looking at the options available in the Salesforce world it was clear to me that the open approach of supporter360 was what the market needed.”
AppiChar say that their UK consulting team has doubled in size in 2012 and that it is “working with some of the biggest not-for-profits in the country.”
Jones will be working with Andrew Harley who is leading appiChar’s UK operations.
