Pears Foundation has announced the Give More campaign, a 12 month initiative to encourage people to give more money, time or energy in 2012 to the causes that matter to them. The campaign is encouraging individuals to make a public commitment to do so.

Charities Aid Foundation welcomed the new campaign. CAF Head of Policy Hannah Terrey said: “While the majority of people in the UK give to charity – and recognise the key role that charities play in society – there is more that can be done, and we wholeheartedly support the Give More campaign. “By increasing the visibility and more clearly demonstrating the impact of giving, we could help to encourage more people to give and people in general to give more.”
