Paul Amadi to join Diabetes UK as Director of Fundraising

Health charity Diabetes UK has appointed Paul Amadi as Director of Fundraising and he will take up his post in January 2012.
Amadi is currently Director of Fundraising at NSPCC and before that worked for RNIB and SENSE. He has also served as chair the Institute of Fundraising.
Barbara Young, Chief Executive of Diabetes UK, said: “Diabetes is one of the most important and urgent health challenges of our time and Paul’s skills and experience are absolutely what we need as we grow our work with people and professionals to care, connect and campaign on behalf of people with diabetes and those at risk.”
