Everyone needs training, whatever their job and whatever the level. The Institute of Fundraising London region’s conference on 23 and 24 November aims to cater for fundraisers of all levels and from all sizes of organisation. So over two days there are 30 sessions to choose from, including two plenaries given by two of the sector’s most motivational speakers: Alan Clayton of Clayton Burnett, and Rob Woods of Woods Consulting.
Twenty four workshop sessions cover everything from Trusts, Legacies, Events, Capital fundraising to Major donors, Innovation, Finance and Culture Management and quite a bit in between.
Four half-day masterclasses aim to give you more in-depth learning about Integration, IT for fundraisers, Management Techniques and what skills you need to move from fundraiser to CEO.
Additionally, Damian O’Broin of Ask Direct and Mark Phillips of Bluefrog have spent a lot of time this year mystery shopping charities in the UK, Canada, US, Australia and New Zealand. Moles have been quietly making gifts and watching what comes back. Come and find out from them what donor care is like around the world and what we can take from the best (and the worst) of it.
