2011 Funding Roadshow to be held in London, Leeds and Birmingham

Fundraising specialists Action Planning are to hold the 2011 Funding Roadshow, a one-day conference featuring leading funders, in three cities during September. It takes place in Central Hall Westminster (13 September), West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds, on 15 September , and Birmingham Hippodrome on 27 September.
The event features statutory, lottery and trust funders. Funder representatives will differ between locations but all three conferences will cover the same subject matter. Speakers include:
• Department of Health Partnerships Director, Mark Davies, and colleagues
• Big Lottery Fund Chief Executive, Peter Wanless, and his team
• Heritage Lottery Fund Chief Executive, Carole Souter, and her team
• Esmée Fairbairn Foundation Chief Executive, Dawn Austwick
• Lloyds TSB Foundations Chief Executive, Linda Kelly and her team
• BBC Children in Need Chief Executive, David Ramsden and his team
The Roadshow will be launched on 13 September by Minister for Civil Society, Nick Hurd MP.
Other sessions include:
• Statutory funding and the Big Society opportunity – with Dr Peter Kyle, Acting Chief Executive of ACEVO, and Seb Elsworth, Director of Strategy
• Building a world-class fundraising team – with Aneesha Moreira, formerly Fundraising Director of the British Heart Foundation and now Director of Fundraising and Marketing Consultancy at Action Planning
• Accessing European Union funding – with Diana Mathis of YTES in Lille, experts in establishing pan-European partnerships for leading charities
The attendance fee of £128 includes lunch, all presentation materials and a networking reception.
