Tates Limited, the company which owns and operates over 200 SPAR stores in England and North Wales, has raised over £1 million for the NSPCC. The total was reached last month after four years of fundraising activities.
Svetlana Kirov, Head of Corporate Partnerships for the NSPCC, presented Tates‘ Managing Director Geoff Hallam with a plaque to mark the achievement. The event took place at the Tenbury Wells store in Worcester, which raised the most for NSPCC out of all the SPAR stores.
Kirov said: “The NSPCC’s partnership with Tates has been a tremendous success. With a challenging economic backdrop it’s a testament to the dedication and hard work of store staff and customers that so much money has been raised over four years.”
Tates’ fundraising partnership with the NSPCC is continuing for another year.
