Housing charity Shelter has appointed Tracy Griffin as Director of Fundraising. She joins Shelter from the NSPCC where she held a dual role of Head of Community and Head of Corporate Fundraising.
She has over 20 years’ experience working with a variety of organisations including major UK and development agencies. She began her career at ActionAid working as a community and corporate fundraiser, and then ran large community, corporate, events and major gift departments at Save the Children and NSPCC.
At NSPCC she helped create a multi million pound major donor department and community events programme, set up a community business board network, and oversaw the successful merger of the ChildLine operation into NSPCC fundraising.
Griffin said: “I feel privileged to be joining such a strong team at Shelter and getting to grips with the variety of innovative fundraising streams the charity operates, while also looking at how we can develop new propositions to meet the expected increase in demand for voluntary income.”
