New email alerts for changes to Codes of Fundraising Practice

Members of the Institute of Fundraising can now keep up to date with changes made to the Codes of Fundraising Practice with a new email alert service.
Subscribers to the free service will receive updates on changes to the Codes, Code working party recruitment opportunities, Codes consultations, the launches of new Codes, and any other major changes to the Codes, or to fundraising that will have a major impact on the Codes.
Sarah Tirrell, Policy and Codes of Practice Manager at the Institute of Fundraising, said: “It is very important that fundraisers have a method to guarantee they are made aware ofchanges made to the Codes, especially now when the public is looking to the charity sector to fill the voids left by public sector cuts. However, increased demands and limited resources mean fundraisers have less time than ever before to research changes that may affect their work. This new Codes alert service will ensure the fundraising profession is kept up to date on our sector’s agreed standards.”
