The Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust (SDBTT) has appointed John Grain Associates (JGA) to work with them to develop their fundraising activities for Brain Tumour Awareness Month, which takes place in March 2011.
Brain Tumour Awareness Month will see SDBTT further developing their existing Tea Party event, as well as introducing a London to Cambridge bike ride, skydiving, and their first ever national raffle. They will also be testing donor acquisition activity through both raffles and cause related direct marketing.
Paul Carbury, CEO of SDBTT said: “Given the ever increasing need for our services and the high quality of the research work we are funding, we feel the time is right to develop and expand our fundraising activities. Brain Tumour Awareness Month provides us with an excellent opportunity to do so and we are enormously excited by the potential of the fundraising work we have planned.
“We have chosen JGA to support us because of their proven track record and expertise in working with charities of our size. As well as being very creative, they take a long-term, sustainable, and most importantly, practical approach based on the best principles of relationship fundraising”.
JGA are currently working with SDBTT on a longer-term programme of fundraising and communications covering all aspects of their individual giving programme.
