Getting started with Bluesky for charities

The best selling book in IFC’s Bookstore is…

“Fundraising when Money is Tight” by Mal Warwick. Maybe you guessed it!
Amara Clark writes “that a fairer title for this book might have been “Fundraising From Individual Donors When Money is Tight” because this book is a great source about fundraising from individuals (rather than companies, trusts or the government). The author clearly has a lot of experience, particularly with direct mail so there’s lots of good tips such as how to deal with printers, writing a good case for support or how donor segmentation works.
This book does make some general points relevant to surviving tough times and fundraising when money is tight, including lessons from the depression and scenario planning in a troubled economy. However this isn’t as strong as the rest of the content and doesn’t make up the majority of the book. In short, if money is tight and you want to increase efficiency when fundraising from individual donors then this is the book for you. ”
