DSC Social Change Award winners announced

The Directory of Social Change has announced the four winners of its third annual Social Change Awards.

The awards were created “to celebrate the passionate individuals and effective organisations committed to making a positive impact on society”.

The winners in each of the four categories are:

• Everyday Impact Award Winner – Safe@Last

• Influencer Award Winner – YoungMinds Very Important Kids (VIK)

• Investing in Social Change Award Winner – Diversity Hub

• Public Body Award Winner – Papworth Trust

All entries came from individuals or organisations that nominated themselves or were nominated by others. DSC and an external independent judging panel then created a shortlist of three nominees for each category .

The public was then invited to choose the winners in an online vote.

Each winner and runner-up received an artwork by cartoonist Grizelda, depicting their organisation and its work.
