UK Fundraising’s popular ‘Fundraising with Twitter’ half-day course returns next month in London. This time it is complemented with a new half-day course presented by Simon Frank, founding partner and creative director of Beautiful World.

A professional copywriter and brand expert, Simon has worked with third sector organisations and commercial brands such as RSPCA, RSPB, Breast Cancer Campaign, The Soil Association, Microsoft, BUPA and Ford.

His half-day course on 5 October is entitled “Writing for Twitter: How to win friends and influence people online”. Taking place at The Hub in London’s King’s Cross, the afternoon course will be “a creative session full of practical tips on how to hone your copywriting skills to make 140 characters work hard for your organization and have the maximum impact”.

Tickets are £100 + VAT for charities, nonprofit, public sector, and social enterprise organisations. The course is not open to for-profit organisations.

It will be preceded that day (5 October) by Howard Lake’s separate half-day course on ‘Fundraising with Twitter’, which has been running since March this year. This morning course features practical examples and ideas of how Twitter is being used as a fundraising tool and how charities can make the best use of it.
