Printers’ Charitable Corporation appoints its first Director of Fundraising and Marketing

Howard Lake | 2 April 2009 | News

Printing industry charity The Printers’ Charitable Corporation (PCC) has appointed Joanna Havers to the newly created role of Fundraising and Marketing Director. She will report directly to the Chief Executive and Board of Trustees.
Havers joins from Sussex Housing & Care, where she was responsible for PR, marketing and legacy fundraising. Before that, she worked for 12 years in the environmental sector for The Wildlife Trusts and subsequently the RSPB, where she helped set up its regional fundraising network.
She will be based at the PCC’s West Sussex Directorate. “Although the PCC is the UK’s second-oldest occupational charity,” she said, “I will be developing the first ever marketing strategy in its 182-year history. It’s an exciting and challenging role as the charity implements its ambitious plans for its long-term future.”
