Literally, no pun intended!

For the last few weeks, an online survey has been running to try and get a sense of how new technologies can and will impact on conference presenters and attendees.

What do you think about this?  How would you react to an audience engaging with each other instead of paying attention to you in the traditional sense?  Is it something we should embrace as a great way of engaging the audience or is it scary?

Mostly, it’s just a bit of fun to try and see just how worried or excited, or both, we are at the prospect of a fundamental shift in the way such events are run.  For example, my twitter stream has this morning been filled with over 30 updates from people attending an event whilst the speakers are doing their thing.

I want to share the results with the UK Fundraising community but need more people to complete the very short questionnaire to make the findings worthwhile.

If you have a spare 5 minutes (literally) and would like some ideas on how to better prepare events, conferences for your audiences then please do share your thoughts.
