Peter Flory's quick survey on database requirements

Howard Lake | 12 March 2009 | Blogs

Peter Flory is looking for some more people to help him with his survey of charity sector databases.
Peter has worked in the not-for-profit IT sector for more than 20 years: you’ve probably come across his books on databases, or he might even have helped your organisation select a fundraising or membership database.
Peter is currently undertaking a PhD at Brunel University and is studying the reuse of system requirements. He’s keen to find out more about how people in the sector define their database requirements.
If you work for a charity or other non-profit organisation and you have a CRM or Contacts or Fundraising or Membership database and would like to take part then please help Peter by completing the survey.
It is only 10 questions so should take take less than five minutes to fill in. The survey does not gather any personal or contact details.
Peter will analyse the results and share them in a future publication.
His academic supervisors have asked him to mention the following:
“You are free to choose to participate or not. Your consent is implied by clicking the link that takes you to the survey. You will be able to withdraw at any time by simply navigating away from the web page and not completing the survey”.
So, now that’s clear, here’s the survey:
