Fundraising Ireland has opened bookings for their national fundraising conference which will take place at Croke Park in Dublin on 26th March.
The theme for the day is ‘Survival and Growth in a Challenging Climate’. The current economic climate is having an impact on the charity sector and the effectiveness of particular fundraising techniques. The conference aims to address these challenges and provide an insight into various fundraising avenues and which strategies work best.
Topics that will be covered include donor care and retention, community fundraising, philanthropic and corporate partnerships, legacies, fundraising trends and what motivates donors, amongst others.
There will be speakers from both Ireland and overseas including a fast paced opening plenary by Bernard Ross from the Management Centre in Scotland and an inspiring closing session from Mary Lawlor, CEO of Frontline and winner of the WMB Social Entrepreneur 2008 award.
In order to ensure there are topics that appeal to all delegates Fundraising Ireland are running parallel sessions throughout the day and all delegates will be asked to pre-register for their preferred sessions. There will also be an ‘Ask the Professional’ post-conference session where delegates can sign up to spend 15 minutes with one of the speakers.
The cost of the conference is €185 if booked before 2nd March and €235 regular rate.
Fundraising Ireland was established in 2007 to provide networking and development opportunities for those working in a fundraising capacity in Ireland.
